LISTEN UP: Dadie Opanka Talks About Tribalism In New Single

Ghanaian Artiste DadieOpanka in an interview with Sky Fm’s Ike Frimpong  on Loud In Gh, an entertainment review show in Sunyani, Revealed that his latest project titled ‘’ Mepe no Saa’’ which features Okyeamekwame  is a song which touches on certain key and sensitive issues with regards to marriages.

The ‘’AwoofApae’’ hitmaker stressed that segregation and discrimination on some part of some  Ghanaian parents  mostly Muslims ,who often  disapprove of their  children’s choices or Try finding spouses for them, is a thing of the past..

He said ‘’I believe they are doing that because of God, but it’s because of God ,God stands for  unity, Love and peace and you shouldn’t  use those means to separate people from their happiness’’

He  stated that, Okyeamekwame  was the right person to feature on  the song

‘’He is a Legend and his contribution to the song will make it complete, I don’t work with people because of their name or anything, the song itself calls for you’’ He added

He went on to advice people to Follow their hearts and avoid listening to people’s opinions on who to settle with.

When asked what has contributed to his rise in the industry, Dadie Opanka attributed every feet he has achieved mainly to God, his fans and the whole management crew for playing an immense role in bringing him this far.

Speaking on his Upcoming project which is a nationwide high school tour with the theme ‘’Say No to drugs and Alcohol” the ‘Hajia’ Hitmaker said it was something he had always planned on staging as he has been in such position before.

“Youth these days use drugs and alcohol which is very alarming and would affect them in the near future, so as a Musician I think the fame I have should be a tool to sensitize and preach the benefits of avoiding the use of drugs’’
