However, last year July, Ghana was well-placed on 25th, but finds themselves in between Cote d’Ivoire (35) and Albania (37) on the ladder. Ghana 2-0 win over Mauritius in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in June help them in ranking.
In the latest Continent rankings, Ghana is still third behind Algeria (32) and Cote d’Ivoire (35) and ahead of Senegal (41) and Egypt (43).
While the remaining five places in the top ten goes to Tunisia (45), Cameroon (53), Morocco (54), Congo DR (59) and Mali (61).
Well, talking about the world level, there was no change in the top five with 2014 FIFA World Cup finalist, Argentina still holds top place followed by Belgium, Colombia, Germany and Chile.
The current Euro champions, Portugal move two places up to grab sixth spot, while France move up to ten places to be well place on seventh.
Spain is on eight, Brazil ninth and Italy on ten to complete the list of top ten countries in the FIFA World Ranking.
Black Stars best position in the ranking was back in February 2008, when they hold the 14th place and their worst placement was an 89 position in June 2004.
