Naturally, most motivational speakers, psychologists and counselors would say people are mostly inspired by actions or activities of others achievement or a well life lived.
Individually, people are inspired artistically, biblically or creativity by others
But the Aftown Energy Boss, Yaa Pono as known in the Hiplife music industry thinks otherwise.
According to the “Amen” hit maker, inspiration should not be gotten from others but it a self derived spirit.
The controversial artist on Kumasi based radio Hello Fm last Saturday said personal inspiration is what is keeping him afloat in the industry.
When asked how he gets his inspiration used in writing his lyrics, he said
“All that I have experienced in life are my source of motivation; therefore nobody can be like me. You see, you can never be inspired by anybody other than yourself, not even by books”
“For me one thing I learnt from my life is I never wanted to be the best. I just wanted to be the first, but there are many people who become first in life at a time however”. He explained
Yaa Pono was in Kumasi over the weekend for the MAMBA show and shared stage with the BET award winner Stonebwoy, Flow Kong Stone, Ebony, and the biggest music commodity of the moment, Patapaa the “one corner” hit maker.
However, the question most listeners and Aftown Energy fans are seeking answers to is as to whether Yaa Pono is seeking to become a motivational speaker per the way he speaks or doing it for fun
