Joseph Ofori, popularly known as Aqweci in the circles of blogging and showbiz is a final year student, reading B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Sciences in the University of Ghana, a hardworking blogger, music promoter and social media optimizer.
Aqweci has put in a dint of hard work since 2011. He created his own blog www.aqweci.tumblr.com in 2011 to let the world hear his thoughts and appreciate his style of writing.
He has always loved music, and would give in-depth analysis of songs; hence in 2013, he created www.aqweciwrites.blogspot.com to blog about entertainment. Thence, he has written lyrics for songs which seem difficult to spell out the lyrics, such as “Revenge of the Spartans” by Sarkodie, and “Fire Bon Dem (Remix)” by Flowking Stone; conducted interview sessions with Drumroll & Afrolektra; and shared his opinions on issues.
Since 2015, he has been contributing on Ghanacommunity.com, by tackling social issues, giving his opinions, and providing advice. He published articles such as “Ghana, My Dirty Home” which suggested sanitation factors, and “A Student in School, A Slave After School” which motivates students to become generational thinkers.
He also reviews albums, songs, writes lyrics, and generates new and exclusive content for LoudSoundGhana.com. Ofori also blogs for Gentlemenradio.com, Africaworldmusic.com, and MediaHomeGhana.com.. Apart from the above mentioned, he has articles published exclusively on KuulPeeps.com and DawuroGH.com.
He officially launched his self-owned website, SteezeHub.com on May 2, 2016, which is basically an online magazine with health, entertainment, fashion and lifestyle categories. The aim behind developing the site is to create a balance in life. Ofori is currently the founder and administrator of SteezeHub.com. He’s done a lot of album reviews, such as E.L’s BAR II review and Sarkodie’s Mary Album review that were published on more than 11 front-indexed websites. The profound criticisms and comprehensive analysis caught the eyes of editors of Akwaaba Magazine, leading to a full article feature in the 2016 edition.
